CRS Centennial Golf Tournament
Wednesday, September 21, 2011 dawned bright and sunny for the CRS Centennial Golf Tournament. At noon, 44 golfers eagerly lined up in their golf carts at Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton for a fun day of golf in support of Charles River School.
Brookmeadow is an award-winning golf course and was challenging enough to provide a test for better golfers, but its wide fairways and large greens level the playing field for folks with higher handicaps. We had a wide array of skill levels participate, from first-time golfers to very experienced players. Current parents, past parents, grandparents and alums and faculty shared the course, making for a true community event. Even better–the event was a huge success and raised $19,000 for CRS!
Metro West Secondary School Fair
On Monday, September 19 from 6:30 to 8pm, Charles River School hosted a secondary School Fair for parents and students considering an independent school for high school. Admissions officers from over 30 Boston-area secondary schools were on hand to speak with parents and students about their schools. About 60 students attended and the event was a great success.
