Charles River School is an independent, co-educational school for children in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth dedicated to providing a developmental curriculum that is vibrant, challenging, and stimulating.
Our average class size is ten students to one teacher. (Pre-kindergarten has a maximum of eight students to one teacher.)
Our
current
enrollment
is 215 students.
More than 60% of our faculty has an advanced degree.
We offer supervised programs for students before school (from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.) and after school (Extended Day Program) until 6:00 p.m.
We offer after school sports programs for Grades 5-8 in tennis, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer and basketball.
Financial aid is available on a need basis; 11% of tuition revenue is allocated to financial aid.
Charles River School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools and the Association of Independent Schools of New England, through which we are accredited.
