Dear Fellow CRS Alums,

Charles River School remains a very special place to many of us, long after we have graduated, and the Alumni Council was created with the mission of helping the alumni community stay connected to CRS. We host events throughout the year and reconnect with alumni in an effort to build a strong alumni community.

We are always seeking new members to participate on the Council; so if you live in the area come to our meetings, (or have the ability to conference call into a meeting) we welcome your participation on the Council. We hold four meetings a year with the fall meeting used to set our goals for the year.

This year is particularly important because CRS is celebrating its 100th birthday, with many fun and commemorative events scheduled thru June ’12. The Centennial culminates with a gala weekend April 28 and 29, 2012. As a part of this yearlong celebration, we are reaching out to the alumni community and asking for your participation in Alumni Council Meeting scheduled for dinner on Wednesday, December 7  at 6:30pm at Joe’s American Bar & Grill on Newbury Street (corner of Newbury and Exeter Streets. We will discuss the Council’s role in the celebration, and the big and small ways each of you can get involved and support our activities.

If you have any questions, please contact the co-chairs of the Council, Molly Plummer Cook ’95 or Amy Lisbon Branton ’95.
