CRS Life

Assemblies

There’s no better place to catch a glimpse of the CRS community in action than at our weekly assembly, when the entire school meets to share and learn from one another. One week may feature a student-teacher collaboration. The next could showcase the work of a CRS classroom. During sharing assemblies students as young as PreK learn to become comfortable with the joy of public speaking and performance. Assemblies are a time to enrich our curriculum, strengthen community and build student confidence in a friendly, supportive environment ideal for self-expression.

Yesterday’s MLK Sharing Assembly was incredible!  We celebrated the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. with performances by each class that honored his messages of peace and equality.  The assembly ended with the moving Lovingkindness video created by last year’s 6th graders, which at this point has over 12,000 views on Youtube.
