All School Community Service
Throughout the year, the Community Service Committee – a group of parents, teachers, and students – organizes and runs several all school projects. Each year CRS collects food at Thanksgiving for the Needham Food Pantry, holds a blood drive for the Red Cross in February, and participates in the Charles River Cleanup in April.
Last year, we held a hat, mitten, and glove drive to benefit the Home for Little Wanderers, a group of CRS students, parents, and teachers gathered at Cradles to Crayons on Martin Luther King day to serve 1,986 local children, we collected and sent money to the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders for the Haiti Relief Fund, a clothes collection was taken in April for Cradles to Crayons, and several CRS students participated in the June Pan-Mass Challenge Kids Ride.
