7 & 8 Advising
The 7th and 8th grade advising program is a cornerstone of the Charles River School Upper Grades experience. Students meet weekly—one-on-one—with their advisor for the full two years. The thoughtful care given to individual students results in a strong advisor/advisee bond. Advisors coordinate all aspects of school life: academic, behavioral, social (at the student’s request) and family support and involvement. Advisors and the Head of School guide 8th grade students and their families through the secondary school process. Working collaboratively with parents and faculty members, Advisors help students find the schools that are the right fit for them.
