The Extended Day Program runs from noon until 6:00 pm. Offerings include gross motor activities, art projects, games, homework, sports and outdoor play. EDP includes children from all the grades and therefore provides opportunities for mixed-age activities.
- Children in PreK may join EDP following their dismissal at noon. They have lunch in the dining room and may stay until 3:00 p.m. carpool (1:30 carpool on Wednesdays) or as long as needed up to 6:00 p.m.
- Kindergartners may join EDP at 1:30 p.m. and stay until 3:00 p.m. carpool or as long as needed up to 6:00 p.m.
- Children in Grades 1-8 may join EDP at 3:00 carpool (1:30 carpool on Wednesdays) and stay as long as needed up to 6:00 p.m. Older students with sports commitments or Study Hall may join EDP following these activities and stay as long as needed up to 6:00 p.m.
Occasional drop-in attendance with 24 hours notice: You may arrange for your child to come to Extended Day for a single afternoon by calling the school office with 24 hours advance registration if there is space available with adequate staffing. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ms. Jeanette Pratt-Tello is the Director of EDP.
