Campaign Overview
With the campaign complete, we acknowledge that donations to Foundations for Learning enabled the school to vastly improve the educational experience for children and increase the endowment funds specifically for faculty compensation.  We thank you all for this success!

       Here's what we did:

  • Built a new two-story early childhood building for Pre-K through grade 3  (opened Sept. 7, 2003)
  • Renovated the Library Building instructional spaces for grades 4-6 (opened Sept. 7, 2003)
  • Improved campus grounds and play areas (ongoing effort)
  • Provided summer program CRCAP, with larger and improved spaces (completed)
  • Reconfigured campus-wide traffic, improve parking, install cistern for fire suppression (completed).
The Endowment

       Endowment Highlights

* Thanks to a very generous bequest from the estate of Richard K. Thorndike '23 and gifts from several additional friends of CRS, the campaign added endowment funds of $590,000 to increase faculty compensation.

We recognize that what makes CRS a great school is its faculty and staff. We continually seek to attract, retain, and support a dedicated and diverse team of educators and staff who are actively engaged in the school's mission.  This requires a commitment to competitive salaries and active support of faculty development.
