Larkin Accepts Leadership Award, Addresses College Admissions Scandal at CASE Conference

Yesterday, Head of School Gretchen Larkin accepted the Chief Executive Leadership Award from CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) at the annual conference. Her remarks at the ceremony addressed the college admissions scandal, and how we can educate our children to become resilient individuals with strong character in this age of child-centrism.

"Academics aside, courage, kindness, and respect have always, and should always, guide our educational missions. Courageous and intentional conversations that model for our students how to do the right thing are paramount. Our students are not immune to the challenges facing our world today, and we have a universal responsibility to create psychologically safe, diverse, and inclusive learning communities so our students can go forth into the world with confidence and compassion."
