During a recent assembly, PreK-5 students enjoyed live music from the medieval group, Meravelha. The group, which was formed in 2012 in Boston, used music, poetry, and movement to tell stories that reflect songs and cultures from the 11th through the 15th centuries. Following the performances, all students asked questions about how the musicians learned their craft, their favorite songs, and the authentic instruments they used. Grades 1/2 got a closer look at the instruments since the topic fits in with this year's theme.
