CRS Featured in Reader's Digest Story

Charles River School's commitment to social justice is highlighted in a Reader's Digest story titled "12 Powerful Ways People Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day."

The article, which places the school's recent faculty-led workshops in celebration of the MLK holiday within the context of our broader engagement with social justice issues, quotes Elena Pereira, 5th Grade Co-Teacher and the Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. “This day is a day where we not only celebrate Dr. King and the many who’ve challenged injustice, but a day to, first, make connections with those engaged in the work around us, and second, to explore our own opportunities for impact, to follow them in the pursuit of a better world.”
