Students Make 1st Virtual Sharing Assembly A Bright Spot

More than 150 community members tuned in to the first Virtual Sharing Assembly on Thursday, April 9, 2020, and were thrilled to see so many smiling faces on screen. Our Grade 8 MCs guided the at-home audience through musical performances, poetry readings, shared drawings, and new hobbies. Several students submitted how-to videos and demonstrations, including how to field a ground ball and a special sewing project making protective masks for healthcare workers. Our students' enthusiasm and optimism were such an inspiration to see. We can't wait for the next one!
