Opening Assembly Brings Community Together

Even though we couldn't gather in Foster Hall for the opening assembly, the community came together in new ways to mark the start of the school year. Head of School Gretchen Larkin greeted everyone (over Zoom from her office in the Community Building!) before introducing each class. After each cohort said their hellos, Ms. Larkin introduced our new faculty and staff members. Each shared a fun fact about themselves with the community. We also had the chance to connect with our remote learners and staff members!

While we are starting the year with the most conservative restrictions, including not gathering together for assemblies, we hope that as the year continues and COVID numbers continue to trend in the right direction, we'll eventually phase into fewer restrictions. As Mica Moellering said during this morning's assembly, it was still great to see everyone's faces today!
