CRS Students Participate in Model United Nations Conference
On September 30, 16 Charles River School students participated in the Model United Nations Global Leadership Conference at Suffolk University in Boston. CRS students worked in two-person delegations to represent the countries of France, Vanatu, Madagascar or China and discussed the issue of Malaria. In Model United Nations, students attempt attempt to resolve real-world problems using the UN’s structure and rules of procedure, and ultimately participate in an international conference held in New York City at the United Nations Headquarters. This program is a great opportunity for students to gain awareness of global issues, different cultures and perspectives, as well as strong research and public speaking skills.
