Kathleen joins us this year as a new literacy teacher in the elementary grades. She has years of experience in both teaching and administration in independent schools. In 11 years at the Langley School in McLean, Virginia, she served as the Assistant Head of School, Director of Academics, Director of Student Life, and a grade 2 teacher. She also worked with Derby Academy and The Chestnut Hill School as a curriculum and administrative consultant. Most recently, Kathleen completed an Orton-Gillingham training program and has been working with individual and small groups of students in reading instruction.
