Lindsey Grossman

Grades 1/2 Literacy Teacher

Lindsey is a seasoned educator and life-long learner. In addition to working as a reading teacher at CRS, Lindsey has her own tutoring business. Previously, she taught at Mary McDowell Friends School, a school for children with language-based learning disabilities located in New York. Prior to that, Lindsey was a classroom teacher in a public elementary classroom in Manhattan. Lindsey discovered her passion for tutoring when working with students individually, building upon their strengths and working through their learning challenges. She established LG Tutoring in 2018 and relocated her practice from Brooklyn to Wellesley, Mass. in 2021.

Lindsey has a Master’s degree in Special Education and General Education from the Bank Street Graduate School of Education (NY) and an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California (USC). Her experiences in the areas of literacy and math, as well as executive functioning, combined with her intensive training in Orton-Gillingham and Wilson Fundations, provide a unique skill set to enhance learning for all children. Lindsey understands the importance of looking at each child as an individual and developing instruction based on their strengths and passions.

Lindsey is a resident of Wellesley, Massachusetts. She lives with her husband, two sons, and her Goldendoodle, Bodie Blue.
