CRS Summer
CRS Summer, the summer session of Charles River School, builds on our nationally recognized Creative Arts Program to offer a joyful multi-arts experience for campers ages 4–15. A leader in creative summer arts programming, we combine rich traditions with exciting new offerings including classes in visual and performing arts and a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program for teens to develop leadership skills. Our Creative Starts program provides a perfect introduction to camp for our youngest participants.
Each session culminates in a celebratory Festival Day, where campers share their work through exhibitions and performances for family and friends. Daily Noontime Shows give every camper a chance to perform and shine on stage in front of the CRS Summer community.
Whether your child loves art, music, theater, or technology, CRS Summer offers a welcoming, inclusive, and relaxed environment to explore their passions. At CRS Summer, campers learn, create, and are authentically known.
Campers select classes and build their camp schedule from a list of courses released before the start of the summer. Activities will be specifically tailored by camper age group and ability, ensuring that everyone is engaged and has fun!
Families can choose between our Creative Arts Program, including our Musical Theater Production, Creative Starts, for our youngest campers, and our CIT apprentice program for teens looking for leadership opportunities. Whatever their age, campers will choose from classes in performing and visual arts, nature and STEM, day camp sports, and more!
The program runs between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Early drop off and extended day options are available. Snack and lunch included daily.
