CRS Summer

CRS Summer is Charles River School’s summer session which follows in the footsteps of our nationally-recognized multi-arts program, CRCAP. CRS Summer combines the storied tradition of the Charles River Creative Arts Program with updated offerings for 2025 for campers ages 4-15, including intensive classes in Arts, STEM and sports, CIT, and a program for our youngest campers, Creative Starts. Whether your child is interested in visual or performing arts, traditional day camp offerings, or an emphasis on technology and STEM, CRS Summer has their interests covered. We offer an inclusive, welcoming, and relaxed environment on our beautiful 16-acre campus which includes an outdoor Wetlands lab.

Campers select classes and build their camp schedule from a list of courses released before the start of the summer. Activities will be specifically tailored by camper age group and ability, ensuring that everyone is engaged and has fun! Campers also have the option of on-campus water play activities and opportunities to perform in our all-camp Noontime Shows. Each session ends with a showcase day that family and friends are invited to watch.

Campers can choose between Charles River Creative Arts Program (CRCAP) which will run as four two-week sessions, and Musical Theater Production, which will run as two four-week sessions. Children ages 4-7 will be part of Creative Starts, age-appropriate cohorts in our CRCAP sessions. Whatever their age, campers will choose from classes in performing and visual arts, nature and STEM (including our Wetlands Lab), traditional day camp sports, and more!

The program runs between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for campers ages 4-15 (Creative Starts Program: Ages 4-7 and CIT rising 8th – 10th graders). Lunch included daily.
