Huma joins the CRS community from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans, LA where she served as a math instructor and grade 8 advisor. She has experience teaching grades 3-8 and accelerated algebra, and she was the Math Coordinator at Lahore Grammar School for a decade before coming to the United States. Huma strives to teach math in a way that makes the subject approachable and connected to the world. With her years of experience working with students who need targeted intervention as well as those who need extension, Huma is looking forward to collaborating with the middle school math team to create an intentional program that prepares students for high school and beyond.
