Nihal joins Charles River School with a unique perspective shaped by his experiences as an educator, advisor, and enrollment professional. Prior to CRS, he served as the Enrollment & Placement Coordinator at Beacon Academy, where he guided students and families through the high school application process for a range of independent schools while also reviewing applications and profiles for incoming students. Before moving into admissions, Nihal taught mathematics at both Beacon Academy and Providence Day School, where he focused on building student confidence and belonging in the classroom. In addition to teaching, he coordinated co-curricular programming and served as a student advisor, working to foster strong and holistic student engagement.
Nihal is passionate about educational access and advocacy and approaches his work in admissions with a commitment to making independent schools more accessible to students and families. He is dedicated to supporting families throughout every step of the application process and is excited to meet the many students and families who come through CRS. Nihal earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Oberlin College and a Master of Education in Education Policy and Analysis from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
