Amy Walsh

I love how Charles River School helps students recognize their strengths, explore their interests, and grow into confident leaders! The community here celebrates creativity in all its forms, whether in the arts, the sciences, or out on the field. From the PreK students who are always eager to share their latest ideas, to the thoughtfulness the eighth graders bring to their time with their Buddies, the bonds within this community are truly something special.

Amy joined CRS in 2022 and was promoted to Director in 2024. She brings more than a decade of advancement experience to her role as Director of Development at Charles River School.

Before coming to CRS, Amy worked in advancement in the independent school world and brought her passion for mission-driven work to Girls on the Run Greater Boston, where she was drawn to the organization’s commitment to building confidence and community in young people. She also brings a strong grants management background from her time at Boston Children’s Hospital and University of California, San Francisco.

Amy graduated from Muhlenberg College, where she played lacrosse and is proud to bring that same team-first spirit to her role as Director of Development and as one of the coaches of the CRS girls lacrosse team.
