Fair Brings Community Together and Continues Tradition

October 23, 2023

The fall Fair is, without a doubt, one of the most cherished traditions at CRS. Ask current and past parents how they first got involved in the community or query any student about their favorite events throughout the year and the Fair is sure to come up.  In addition, it is a great opportunity for young alumni to return to campus, reconnect with teachers and classmates, and bask in the memories of a childhood spent at CRS.

While the weather was less than ideal for this year’s Fair on October 21, the clouds and rain did not dampen the spirit and enthusiasm of the community.  From bounce houses and a live band in the gym to games and crafts in the dining room to a community art project and food trucks outside, the Fair had something for everyone!  As always, the Parent Association did a wonderful job of organizing, staffing, and marketing the Fair, and our campus was abuzz with activity throughout the day. In addition, the PA ran a very successful community service project, collecting over 800 books for the Needham-based non-profit Storytime Crafts.

A special thanks to Needham Bank which partnered with CRS to underwrite costs, allowing all of the activities in the gym to be free of charge!
