After earning a degree in English Literature from Bates College, Jake taught at The Chestnut Hill School here in Massachusetts before spending the past 6 years teaching middle school English and humanities at the Bentley School in Oakland, California. Jake has also spent summers as a teacher and administrator at The Summer Boarding School in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
