Rachel Jackson

School Nurse

“WOW [Working on Wellbeing] Time is one of my favorite things I do at CRS. It creates space for students to build self-awareness, connection, and resilience. Supporting the health and well-being of every child means caring not only for their physical health, but also for their social and emotional growth so they can learn, thrive, and feel a true sense of belonging.

Rachel Jackson joined the Charles River School community as School Nurse in 2023, bringing more than 30 years of experience supporting student health and wellness. Prior to CRS, Rachel served as the school nurse at Walpole High School for 10 years and previously worked as a district nurse in the Walpole Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University and a Master’s in Education with a concentration in School Nursing from Cambridge College.

Rachel is passionate about supporting the whole child and helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Her work reflects the CRS mission to honor both academic excellence and the joy of childhood by nurturing curiosity, encouraging creativity, and fostering a caring school community where students grow in confidence, compassion, and self-understanding.
