We are so looking forward to seeing you at the start of the new school year! The first day of school is Wednesday, September 3rd.

On this page, you will find centralized back-to-school information. Additional content will continue to be added for the 2025/2026 school year over the coming weeks.

Join us for an evening of great food, drinks, and conversation with fellow parents. Whether you’re new to the school or a returning family, it’s a perfect chance to unwind and build community connections. This event is for adults only.

First Day of School Coffee on Wednesday, September 3 at 8:15 am
Join us under the pavilion on the first day of school for a casual coffee reception with other parents and caregivers, members of the Community Association Board, and the CRS Leadership Team. Whether you are in need of some tissues as you send a child off to school for the first time or are looking to celebrate the start of the school-year routine, we’re here to support you! Please plan to join us if you can.

A reminder that morning dropoff runs from 8:00 – 8:15 a.m. in the carpool circle for students PreK-5 and at the Travis Middle School Building for students 6-8.

Carpool placards will be mailed ahead of the first day of school. Please put this placard on your dashboard and make sure that whoever is picking up your child has a placard in the front car window with the student’s last name written clearly on it. This ensures that the carpool process runs smoothly!

Additionally, please complete all forms including the Dismissal and Pickup Authorization Form in the Parent Portal before the first day of school.

Our Otters will begin the fall sports season on Monday, September 8. If your child will be participating in a fall sport, for the first week of school, please make arrangements to pick them up at the 3:10 dismissal or sign them up for the Extended Day Program (EDP).

As a reminder, if your student has an EpiPen, inhaler or any other prescribed medication, please be sure to drop off the medication and the doctor’s order before the start of school if possible. Our school nurse, Rachel Jackson, will be on campus August 26, 27, and 28. If it is not possible to bring these items to campus before the start of school, please do so in the first week.

A reminder to complete all of the health forms in the parent portal and upload a current physical exam before the first day of school.* New CRS families, please remember to fill in the names and phone numbers for the doctor and dentist of your student(s).

*Special reminder for Grade 5 families: In order for students to attend the field trip to farm school, these forms must be completed.
